To know who I am, who you are, who we are, we have to go back to the beginning.
Images and Shadows
Or
Shadow of God
Gen 1:26 Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
The Hebrew word for, “likeness” is demûth meaning; similitude, in the likeness of.
The Hebrew word for, “image” is tselem meaning; root meaning to shade; a phantom that is (figuratively) illusion resemblance; shadow; a shadow of the original, hence a representative figure
We are created in the likeness of God. In other words, we have a spirit, a heart, a head, a body, two arms, two legs and so on just as He does. We are also the image of God, in that we do what God does. The word, image in Hebrew is tselem which means resemblance and shadow.
A shadow is the shape of the original.
The shadow goes and moves in the same way and manner as the original.
The shadow is cast from the original being illuminated.
The shadow does what the original does.
The shadow has the same characteristics as the original.
The shadow moves in sync with the original.
The shadow cannot exist without the original.
We are the shadow of God.
We should be in sync with God the Original.
We should have the characteristics as God.
At least that way it was before Adam and Eve listened to the snake instead of God.

Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Gen 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (NASB)
God made people to be like Him.
Psalm 139:13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb.
Psalm 139:14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it.
Psalm 139:15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
Psalm 139:16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Psalm 139:17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! (NLT)
God made the first man and woman in one day. It took Him a lot longer to make each of us (9 months). He devised a plan for each of our lives and numbered our days. Then carefully designed and pieced us together in our mothers womb. Which took nine months.
Before He created us, His thoughts about us were precious and good. His plans for our lives are always good. He has so many precious thoughts about us that we humans can’t count them.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (NLT)
The word, “plan” in Hebrew is machashabah and can be translated: plan, purpose, thought, device, machine and invention. So, we could read this verse like this;
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the purpose and plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are purposes and plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
We are His unique invention. He placed in each of us a device that only we can use. A special talent to share His message. A device that He has instructed us to use for His Glory.
We didn’t happen by accident. We are intentional. We were deliberately crafted with intricate precision.
We were made by the Maker.
We were created by the Creator.
We were designed by the Designer.
We were crafted by the Craftsman.
We were sculpted by the Sculptor.
We were knitted together by the Master Knitter.
You are His masterpiece.
His Special Possession.
His segûllâh
Segûllâh is Hebrew for special and possession, and also means
Jewel and treasure.
His fingerprints are all over you.
His signature is written on our hearts.
Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. (NASB)
Exodus 20:7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
When we come to believe in Jesus Christ, we take the Name of the Lord as our own. We take on His characteristics, His reputation, and traits. If we misrepresent Him, then we have taken His Name in vain, and He will be held accountable. What I mean by misrepresenting God is, doing and saying things that are not in His character...such as, judging, and condemning people, falsely accusing, drunkenness, hateful behavior, and gossiping.
1Pe 4:8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
1Jn 4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Since God is love, let's read 1 Cor 13 and insert the Name God for love.
1Co 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love (or God), I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
1Co 13:4 Love (God) is patient, love (God)is kind and is not jealous; love (God) does not brag and is not arrogant,
1Co 13:5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
1Co 13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
1Co 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1Co 13:8 Love (God) never fails;
So not being 1 Cor 13 is misrepresenting the character of God.
Vain in Hebrew is, Shav' and means; emptiness, vanity, falsehood, nothingness, lying and worthlessness. Using the Name of God loosely. Using His Name as just another word, like, “Oh my God.” Or, “God!”. Lying about God’s nature and character. Teaching false doctrine.
2Ch 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Isaiah 43:7 Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.
So, now He calls us by His Name.
The Hebrew word for called is, Qara' which means; to call out, to proclaim, to summon, invite, call for, commission, appoint.
The Hebrew word for, Name is Shem which means; reputation, fame, and Glory.
So, we can read 2 CH 7:14 like this:
2Ch 7:14 if My people who are called commissioned, appointed, and summoned by My Name, My Reputation, my Fame and My Glory will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
So, we take on the Lords Name. Now He calls, commissions, appoints and summons us by His Name, Reputation, Fame and Glory. We now are to wear His characteristics and traits. His way of thinking. We must not misrepresent Him. Do not take His Name in vain.
Exodus 34:14 --for you shall not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God--
The Lords Name is Jealous. He is jealous for us. He calls us by His Name, which is Jealous. We should be jealous for Him. When we here someone throwing His Name around like a cuss word, we shouldn’t take it. It should anger us. When someone says, “Oh, God.” It should anger us. His Name is Holy.
When we see a christian misrepresenting the Lord, we should go to them in love and correct them.
Isaiah 44:5 This one will say, ‘I am the LORD's,’ another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, ‘The LORD's,’ and name himself by the name of Israel. (ESV)
Isaiah 44:5 One shall say, I am YAHUAH’S; and another shall call himself by the name of Ya`aqov; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto YAHUAH, and surname himself by the name of Yashar’el. (The Eth CEPHER)
Gal 6:17 From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus. (NASB)
This verse may be referring to the marking of the hand.
I have tattooed the Name of the Lord on the palm of my hand.
I am engraved on the palms of God's hands.
Isa 49:16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
(NIV)
Isa 49:16 Behold, I have carved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are always before Me.
(HRB)
Some translations read, “written, or inscribed”, but if something is written, it can be erased or blotted out. Here we read that we are, “engraved”, “carved” into the palms of the Timeless-One’s hands.
The Hebrew word for Engrave is, Chaqaq and means, to cut in or on, cut upon, engrave. This is used to describe one who cuts into stone or metal. This is permanent.
The first two letters of the Hebrew word Chaqaq for our English, Engrave is Choq and means; statute, ordinance, action prescribed (for oneself), resolve.
The last letter in the word Chaqaq is the Hebrew letter, Hhet/Chet. This letter symbolizes; a ladder, the meaning; Grasp, Relationship, Ascend, Climb

Relationship Resolve
Resolve Relationship
How were we engraved, or carved into the Timeless-Ones hands? One way is with the nails that held Yeshuah, Jesus to the cross. These marks are permanent. They are cut deep.
Yah our Father in Heaven wanted a relationship with you, me, us, His prized possession. This was resolved by the cross.
Our identity is Engraved in the hands of Yeshuah, Jesus, and cannot be removed.
Selah,
Not only are we engraved in the palms of our Lords hands, but we are marked and sealed by Him.
Who has placed his mark of ownership upon us, and who has given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the guarantee of all that he has in store for us.
2Co 1:22
even He having sealed us, and having given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
2Co 1:22 (HRB)
He set his seal on us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee of what he would later give us.
2Co 1:22
Having put his chotam [seal of ownership on us and having given the eravon (pledge) of the Ruach Hakodesh in our hearts.
2Co 1:22 (OJB)
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Eph 4:30 (NASB)
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, and secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).
Eph 4:30 (AMP)
2Co 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.(NASB)
2Co 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!{NLT)
2Co 5:17 Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life grows! Look at it! (MSG)
If we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, then we are new creations.
Our old self is gone. Everything is brand new. The person we were, the person we used to be no longer exists.
Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.
Behold, I will do something new,
Isa 43:18,19 (NASB)
Don’t dwell on the past. Don’t think about the past. The past is gone. If God doesn’t remember our past, why should we? The reason God doesn’t remember our past, because to Him it never happened, because the creatures sitting in this room have never existed before. We are brand-new creations.
Let the past alone. Let the past stay in the past, for God is doing something new, something different, something exciting and fresh in each one of your lives.
The first part of the definition of the word, “new” on the Bing search engine is, not existing before, made, introduced.
The Hebrew word for New is
Chadash
Which means;
New, new thing, fresh
The Hebrew word for Fresh is
Ra`anan
Which means;
to be or grow to be or grow luxuriant or fresh
So, then we can read 2Co 5:17 this way:
2Co 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new (fresh, new, luxuriant) creature;
the old things passed away; behold, new fresh, and luxuriant things have come.(NASB)
He has made us a new, fresh and a luxuriant creation. The people we were before we knew Christ, never existed in His eyes.
But, we may say, “I remember things.”
This may sound simple, but I say, “That wasn’t me. This person wouldn’t do that.”
Rom 12:2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
God likes new things. Fresh things.
Sing unto Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
Psa 33:3
And He who sits on the throne said, Behold, I am making all things new.
Rev 21:5
He is making all things new with you, with me, with us.
Eze 36:26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
2Co 5:17 So that if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!
(HRB)
2Co 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
(NLT)
We are a new creation.
The person we once was, before we came to believe in Jesus, no longer exist.
He has made us brand-new creations.
The Hebrew word for, Creation or Create is, Bara. In Hebrew it looks like this, ברא. Within this three-letter word, there is a whole new meaning.
Each letter of the Hebrew Alephbet has different meanings. The first letter of the Alephbet is the letter Aleph and it means; Father, God, First, Power, Beginning and Strength.
Let’s see what surprises this word has it for us.
The first two letters (Hebrew reads from right to left) is the letters, Bet and Resh בר, together they form the word Bar, meaning; Son or Beloved.
The last letter in the word Bara is the letter Aleph א, and it means; Father or God. So, if we divide this word into two we have a special message. We have;
Son of God
or
Beloved of the Father
We are a New Creation means;
We became, Beloved of the Father.
Remember:
He has made us heirs with Jesus. We inherit the Kingdom of Father God just like Jesus.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,
Rom 8:17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
2Co 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
(NLT)
Who we were before we gave our life to Jesus
no longer exists.
We can’t look back at something that’s not there.
Who am I?
I am a Beloved of the Father.
Who are you?
Imitators
As new creations, and a new thing, we are to imitate the behavior of Jesus.
We are Gods imitators. We represent who He is. We are His shadow. And, His reflector.
When people see us, they should see Jesus by our actions.
3Jn 1:11 Delightfully loved ones, don’t imitate what is evil, but imitate that which is good. Whoever does good is of God; whoever does evil has not seen God. (TPT)
So, what is evil and what is good? That's the question.
Is accusing good?
Is condemning good?
Is judging good?
Is not showing grace and forgiveness good?
Is not showing love, good?
Is not sharing the gospel, but gossiping, good?
Mar 10:18 Jesus responded, “Why do you call me good? Only God is truly good. (TPT)
So, we are to imitate God, because He alone is good.
If we don't do the things we know He does, then non-believers will assume that God acts that way.
That is something I don't want to answer God for.
I try to imitate what is Good.
I forsake what is evil.
The Time Changer
God, Who is outside of time, went back in time and changed our past.
God took our dark sinful past and made it as though we did not sin.
He took our hurts, wounds and pains and healed us and made us whole.
God made us into brand-new creations. We are people who have never existed before.
He changed our past. Like He changed water in to wine. There was no evidence of the wine ever being water. He changed everything about it. Just like our past, all of it, never happened. There was no life before Christ.
Read the following verses and see for yourself.
Isa 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.
Isa 43:25 I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.
2Co 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Isa 43:19 Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Priceless
I am a special possession
1Pe 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
(AMP)
1Pe 2:9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
(NASB)
You, me, us; we are,
Chosen,
Holy,
Special,
His Possession,
and we are Called.
In Hebrew the word for “special” is the same word used for “possession”, “segûllâh” meaning; Jewel, treasure.
The Timeless-One looks at us as a treasure, a precious jewel, His very own “Jewel of great value.”
The Parable of the Hidden Treasure
Mat 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. (NASB)
The Parable of the Pearl of Great Value
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls,
and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Mat 13:45, 46 (NASB)
Mat 13:46 Finding one that is flawless, he immediately sells everything and buys it.
(MSG)
The Timeless-One, our Father in heaven considers you, me, us as a treasure, a jewel, a pearl of such a great value and completely Flawless, that He gave His all to purchase us for His very own. His ALL is His only-begotten Son, Yeshuah, Jesus.
When He looks at you, me, us He has such joy that it can’t be contained. He blesses us. He treasures us. He takes delight in us. He sings over us. We are His very own special possession.
Zep 3:17 The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
Psa 139:17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
The Hebrew word for Precious is, “Yaqar” yaw-kar', and it means, to be prized, or be valuable, be costly.
Remember,
You, me, us,
Have Great Value, we are flawless in His eyes
His thoughts of us are precious
The Father gave His Son for each of us,
The Son left heaven, glory, and His throne to tell of the Fathers Love,
The Son enduered suffering and pain for our healing,
Yeshuah Died that we might live,
The Son rose from the dead that we too may live forever.
The Price was Great,
The Price was Paid,
Because,
You, me, us,
We are a Special Possession
Of
Great Value.
Absolute...Flawless
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
1Co 6:19, 20(NASB)
Mat 7:6 Don't give something that is holy to dogs. They will only turn and hurt you. And don't throw your pearls to pigs. They will only step on them.
(ERV)
Think about it like this; you yourselves are priceless jewels, segûllâh. If you set your mind on the past that are full of lies. If you go back to the way you were before Christ, then you are throwing yourself before dirty, filthy pigs. You will be treating God’s prized possession, you, like garbage.
Mat 7:6 Don't give something that is holy to dogs. They will only turn and hurt you. And don't throw your pearls to pigs. They will only step on them.
(ERV)
Father God sees us as holy.
Eph 1:4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love
But, I say all of this. This is how God sees us, but what we become is how we see us.
The first part of Proverbs 23:7 says,
Pro 23:7 For as he thinks within himself, so he is. He says to you, Eat and drink! But his heart is not with you.
If we think on the past long enough, we will become that lie. If we think on who we are in Christ, which is Priceless segûllâhs, then that is who we will become.
Selah,
My God is Jealous for Me
Deu 4:24 For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
(NASB)
Exo 34:14 --for you shall not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God--
(NASB)
Have you ever wondered what God’s name is? It tells you right here in Exodus 34:14 “for the Lord, Whose Name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
One of God’s names is, Jealous.
Why is He jealous?
God created you, me, us to be His and His alone. He desires to have a relationship with His creation, but not just His creation…..His Bride.
We, those who follow, worship, and love Yeshuah, Jesus, we are His Bride.
As for husbands, love your wives, just as the Messiah (Jesus) loved the Messianic Community (Church), indeed, gave himself up on its behalf,
in order to set it apart for God, making it clean through immersion in the mikveh (water), so to speak (or of the Word),
In order to present the Messianic Community (the Church) to himself as a bride to be proud of, without a spot, wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and without defect.
Eph 5:25-27 (CJB)
The Hebrew word for Bride is, Kallah, meaning; to be Complete, or made whole, to be perfect.
The Bride makes the man, the Groom complete, and whole.
You, me, us are the Bride of Christ. We are the completion of God’s plan. His plan is to have a personal relationship with His people, His Church, His Bride.
He considers us His Perfect, spotless, without defect, a holy Bride.
So, we found out that the Hebrew word for, Special and Possession is the word, Cegullah “seg-ool-law'”, which means, Jewel and Treasure.
The Hebrew word for Precious is, “Yaqar” yaw-kar', and it means, to be prized, or be valuable, be costly.
Now we find out that we are, Kallah, the perfect, spotless Bride of Christ.
This why God is Jealous for you. He doesn’t want to share you, His beautiful Jewel, His Special Possession, His Precious Costly Prize, His Shining Perfect Spotless and Holy Bride.
He chose you to be set aside, to be set apart for Him and only Him.
His Love is only for you, and you, and you, for all of us. He wants our love to be only for Him.
Just as a bride does not want to share her husband, so the Groom does not want to share His Bride.
He is Jealous for you, for me, for us…
Deu 4:24 "For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
(NASB)
Exo 34:14 --for you shall not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God-- (NASB)
Flirts
As the Groom looks at His Bride
His heart brakes
He yearns for Her affection,
He begs for Her Love.
His Bride searches for others
His Bride flirts with those who
bring her pain and want her dead,
and yet she flirts
The Groom calls for her,
The Groom searches for her
He says, “I forgive you.”
And yet she flirts with those who mean her harm
The Groom cries to her,
“You are my Jewel, you are my Treasure.
I have given all for you.
Even my life.”
And yet, she flirts.
Selah
The Lord takes Delight in me
Isa 62:3, 4 The LORD will hold you in his hand for all to see-- a splendid crown in the hand of God.
Never again will you be called "The Forsaken City" or “The Desolate Land." Your new name will be "The City of God's Delight" and "The Bride of God," for the LORD delights in you and will claim you as his bride. (NLT)
Psa 149:4 For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
(NLT)
Zep 3:17 For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."
(NLT)
Did you catch that? The Timeless-One sings songs of joy over us.
God, the Creator of all, serenades you, me, us, because He takes great joy, great pleasure and great delight in each of us.
Imagine,
The King of the Universe singing love songs to His creation.
Singing songs of celebration to His sons and daughters.
Shouting songs of joy to His beloved Jeweled Treasure.
Can you imagine His voice?
Another word for delight is, Pleasure or Enjoy. Let’s read Zephaniah 3:17 again. This time Enhanced.
For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight, take pleasure, take enjoyment in you with gladness, in joyfulness, and in happiness. With his love, His passion, and His Goodness he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice, He will celebrate, He will boast over you with joyful songs.
Zephaniah 3:17 (Enhanced Version)
Eph 1:4, 5 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
(NLT)
Psa 94:14 The LORD will not reject his people; he will not abandon his special possession (segûllâh).
(NLT)(Enhanced)
Psa 94:14 GOD will never walk away from his people, never desert his precious people.
(MSG)
We already know that the Hebrew word for, Special and Possession is the word, Cegullah “seg-ool-law'”, which means, Jewel and Treasure.
The Hebrew word for Precious is, “Yaqar” yaw-kar', and it means, to be prized, or be valuable, be costly.
Father God, the Timeless-One, the Creator of the Universe, considers you, me, us His prize, His Jewel, His Special Treasure. You, are of great value to our King, our God and our Father.
Never ever forget that!
Selah,
I am More Valuable
Mat 6:26 “Look at all the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they? (TPT)
Mat 10:31 Fear not, then; you are of more value than many sparrows. (AMP)
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (NASB)
1Jn 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (NASB)
To Father God, we are of more value than anything He created, and so loved that He gave up His Son Jesus to die for us.
Col 3:12, 13 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. (NASB)
The Hebrew word Chemdah is translated, “valuable” in our English Bible.
The Hebrew meaning of Chemdah is, desire, that which is desirable, pleasant, precious, valuable, and delight.
Let’s look at Matthew 6:26 Enhanced.
Mat 6:26 “Look at all the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable, more desirable, more precious to your Father than they? (TPT) Enhanced
God chose us and made us holy and called us beloved.
Father God is in love with us, His creation. We are precious, valued, and a delight to Father.
Remember you ARE of More Value than anything.
Aliens and Strangers
1Pe 2:11 Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul. (NASB)
1Pe 2:11 Beloved, I implore you as aliens and strangers and exiles [in this world] to abstain from the sensual urges (the evil desires, the passions of the flesh, your lower nature) that wage war against the soul. (AMP)
We are:
Beloved
Aliens
Strangers
Exiles
We are loved deeply by Father God.
We are foreigners, we are not naturalized citizens of this world where we are living.
This is not our home.
Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm." (NASB)
Col 1:12-14 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (NASB)
We belong to the Kingdom of God.
If we wear the characteristics of God AKA the Fruit of the Spirit the world treats us differently. It’s alien to them. It’s weird.
If we truly belong to Christ we are Aliens and Strangers in this world. We belong to the world called, “the Kingdom of our Lord.”
I am a Beloved Alien.
And
I am Stranger still.
The Cross was Enough
Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.
Isa 53:4, 5 NASB
He suffered and endured great pain for us, but we thought his suffering was punishment from God.
He was wounded and crushed because of our sins; by taking our punishment, he made us completely well.
Isa 53:4, 5 CEV
The word, “Heal” in Hebrew is Rapha', and means to be healed from illness and distress. To be mended. Also, to be made thoroughly whole. Completely restored.
When God does something, He doesn’t do it halfway. When we are saved, we are are completely saved. When God heals us, we are completely healed. There is nothing we need to do but except and believe.
So, then we can read the following scripture this way.
Jer 17:14 Heal me (thoroughly), O LORD, and I will be healed (completely); Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise.
(NASB)
Psa 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.
(NASB)
Again, we can read this scripture as follows.
Psa 147:3 He (thoroughly and completely) heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.
What kind of wounds? Surface wounds, deep-rooted wounds, emotional wounds and physical wounds. Past, present and future wounds.
This was all taken care of at the cross. There is NO reason to dwell on, think on, process and remember past wounds, hurts, and sins. We are saved and completely healed from all those things by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
To say, “I have to process and work through this deep wound”, is adding to scripture and limiting the power of the blood, the cross and Christ’s sacrifice. There is no place in Scripture that tells us to process past wounds, hurts and sins.
He took it ALL when we accepted Him as our Savior. Our old life is gone. We are New Creations in Christ.

The Fruit of the Spirit is Gods character. This is how people will know who we are; by us exhibiting the Fruit of the Spirit, Gods character, His attributes, His reputation. God has the reputation of being patient and kind with us, right? God is Love. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He is gentle. Le us exhibit the Fruit of the Spirit.

Surrender ALL, Don’t Look Back
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.
Mat 16:24 (NASB)
To deny oneself and take up ones cross means to put to death self, and that means every area. That means to put to death the past (hurts, failures and pain), present self ambitions and to follow after Christ.
But Jesus said to him, "No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
Luke 9:62 (NASB)
The Cost of Following Jesus
Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, "Lord, I will follow You wherever You go."
And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
Then He said to another, "Follow Me." But he said, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father."
Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."
And another also said, "Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house."
But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." Luke 9:57-62 (NKJV)
Jesus did not ask, “Where is your heart? Why do you feel this way? What happened in your past to make you feel this way?” No, He said, “Anyone who looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” Don’t live in the past. Don’t look back to why. God holds the future. Run for the prize.
You are freed from the past. You are a new creation.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable
1Co 9:24, 25 (NKJV)
A person cannot run a race, if they keep looking behind themselves. You will be slowed down or stumble and fall if you keep looking back. Focus on the Prize.
Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Php 3:12-14 (NASB)
We must forget the past and lay hold of the future. What is the Future?
The Prize.
The past is not who we are. The past of another person that no longer exist.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
2Co 5:17 (NASB)
We are new creatures, new creations. What we are now, has never been before. We are brand new. Everything that happened before we knew Yeshuah, has passed away and cannot return. The one that tries to resurrect false memories is Satan, the littlest of gods, the liar and deceiver.
When false memories come to mind, reject it, because those are memories of a person that is dead. That former life does not exist to God. It should not exist to as well.
"And no one puts new wine into old wine-skins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined.
"But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins.
Luke 5:37, 38 (NASB)
Father God created us as new creations, so that the Holy Spirit can indwell us. Otherwise we could not contain Him. He created us new, so the New Spirit can exist in us.
Can old and new live together? No. Yeshuah said,
Luke 5:36 Then He spoke a parable to them: "No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old.”
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Rom 12:2 (NASB)
We must train our minds to think on things above, not on things of a past life that is no longer ours, but of a foreign creature that no longer exist.
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Col 3:1-3 (NKJV)
She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."
John 8:11 (NKJV)
The story of the woman caught in the act of adultery.
What did Jesus do? What questions did He ask? What did He instruct her to do?
Did He ask her of past hurts and past fears?
Did He ask her what made want to do this act?
What was the undercurrent?
What was her relationship with her mother and father?
None of the above. And we don’t read those Questions anywhere in scripture.
Yeshuah asked one question.
John 8:10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, "Where are your accusers? Didn't even one of them condemn you?"
Who is the accuser? In Revelation 12:10 he is known as Satan. He is the one who calls to mind; mistakes, hurts, fears and pain. He is the one who says, “See, you have messed up too much. You are a screw-up.” Then he says, “Remember that hurt? Remember, they did that to you? You still feel the pain, right?”
That’s when we say, “No! That’s not me! That person no longer exists! I am a new creation! A new Creature! The Bride of Christ! I am something new!”
Do not call to mind the former things.
"Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.
"Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
Isa 43:18,19 (NASB)
When something occurs in my life, and I get upset it doesn’t mean I have unresolved issues in my past. There was no life before Christ.
What I must continue to do is, renew my mind and think on things above. Let go of the false past and let God handle it and take care of it.
We can’t resolve issues that God has already taken care of.
Let’s not add to the scriptures.
Bottom line – you have to let go fully of your past before you can start to move forward with passion and great speed in your divine destiny for the Lord.
If you do not let your past fully go – you will stay stuck and grounded right where you are at, and you will never fully accomplish everything that God would’ve had in store for you in this life.
You can either choose to stay fully bound up in your past, continue to throw pity parties and blame others and everything for your miseries – or you can choose to rise up and make a brand new fresh start with the Lord by choosing to fully surrender your entire life into His hands – PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.
Mat 16:24 (NASB)
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Eph 4:22-24
God can fully heal you and break off any past chain-
God can fully renew, if you fully surrender ALL-
God can fully recreate you, if you fully let go of the past-
if you are willing to truly believe that He can do it for you.
Pastor D W Riffe
God created everything perfect.
(Including you)
Every Freak, Misfit and Goth you are created good and perfect. If you are believe in Jesus, then you are a brand new good and perfect creation.
1Ti 4:4 Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.
2Co 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
If we are in Christ, then we are a new and good creation. There is nothing old in us. Our past is gone.
Php 3:13, 14 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (NASB)
If we are in Christ Jesus, then we are to forget the past, the wounds and the hurts, the pain and the sin. Did Christ not take our past, our wounds, our hurts and nail them to the cross with him?
Luk 4:18 "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
What must we do according to scripture to be created new, and to be healed?
We must be in Christ Jesus.
We must forget the past.
We must press on for the Prize.
Do we need to look to the past to be healed? No. Jesus has already healed us by creating us brand new.
Do we need to look to past hurts and wounds for healing? No. Jesus took all wounds, all hurts and all sins to the cross.
You are now healed. You are now made new, good, and perfect.
You are now priceless and flawless.
You are now a segûllâh (a priceless treasured jewel)
The Blood makes everyone brand new
Your past began the moment you became a believer in Jesus Christ, that is your past. From the moment you became a believer in Christ, you became a brand new created being. The creation you are now only knows Jesus. Only knows salvation, only knows Love.
The creatures that was here before we accepted and became believers in Christ no longer exist. Everything wiped out. Every wrong doing wiped clean by the blood of Jesus.
Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, (NKJV)
2Co 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.(NASB)
2Co 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!(NLT)
2Co 5:17 Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life grows! Look at it! (MSG)
What happened before we became believers never happened in the eyes of our Lord. Why keep trying to retrieve what God has taken away by His blood?
Accept the healing.
Accept the forgiveness.
Accept the newness.
Accept His Love.
